~tips4chix~ A rule of thumb for fragrance; Spray twice and walk through, don't saturate and marinate. Try to choose a frangrance that is light and clean. If it is on the heavy side, spray once.

~tips4chix~ Go through your closet at least once a season with a friend that is stylish or your daughter and get rid of those out-dated clothes! ~Three Year Rule~ A good rule of thumb is: If you haven't worn it in three years, toss it. Not sure what style fits your shape?
***tips4chix...BUY A FULL LENGTH MIRROR!!!***
~The illusion you want to try to create is a an upside down triangle~ How would you make an apple into a triangle? How would you make a pear into a triangle? Do you have a muffin top on top of your jeans? Then maybe tight or tucked in is not for you.
The MOST important thing to remember......Dress for your body style! Don't try to dress like a teenager if you're not, don't dress like a Grandmother EVER! You can always look young without looking stupid. An Apple Shaped Woman:
As an apple, you want to emphasize your strong points (your bust and legs) while camouflaging your weaker ones (your midsection), keeping it all in balance. Since the idea is to draw the eye toward those parts of your body that shine and away from those that don’t, you want to show off your great legs.
When making a purchase, hold it up to a mirror first BEFORE you take it into the dressing room and ask yourself; "Do I look like my Mother or my Grandmother in this"? If the answer comes anywhere close to yes, PUT IT BACK!
If you don't have any young women in your life to give some guidance, may I suggest visiting a few younger popular stores like J. Crew or Anthropology or Buckle just to give you some ideas of how to put things together and what is "hip" and then age it appropriately. ~tips4chix~ A big "no no" is to mistake leggin's and jeggin's for pants. All tops and must cover our lady lumps by at least 3 to 4 inches!! If you are going to wear tops that reveal your shoulders, make sure that your shoulders are larger than your hips, otherwise you just don't look right! Here are a few fashion suggestions for to "hip" up your look!
